About Me
I'm an artistic, imaginative, entrepreneurial & passionate person.
For as long as I can remember, drawing & sketching has been my greatest pleasure. My parents tell me I was communicating through drawing before I could talk properly.
As a very visual person, art has always captivated me, and by extension, design has been a huge part of my perception of the world.
Growing up around technologists, and during a time when computing was evolving rapidly, I quickly become interested in computers, software and in particular, user interface.
When I was 17, I could never have imagined that reading 'Learn HTML in 21 Days' would lead me to a career in Front End Web Development. But when I started to learn HTML in 2002, at the suggestion of a friend, I found an amazing world where art and technology intersected.
Web development allowed me to create artistic designs with a purpose; user interface and user experience is all about making things that work well, and look beautiful - and so, a new passion was born.
Shortly after that, I found the need for JavaScript - and I realised almost immediately; I'm gonna be a programmer and a designer.
